We have noticed that we are being questioned about how strong the drawers are, because they are so light weight. We have had questions like

"How much weight will they take on top"

and

"I have a big fridge, are your sure the drawer system can handle it"

Now you can see for yourself. Our drawers are as strong as an ox, yet light as a feather.
Note: To prove that both the Aluminium and the Galvanised Steel systems are just as strong as each other, we used one of each (the one on under the drivers side wheel is the Aluminuim).

As you can see, the drawers still work just fine with car parked on top of them, they still slide in and out just fine.
